Carleton Rafield Gremaud and Virginia Cooney Dansby founded The Green Valise in 2019. Their shared wanderlust offers a refreshing take on the travel industry. Natives of Birmingham, Alabama, Virginia and Carleton split their time between the US and Europe.  Virginia, a graduate of New York University, was also educated at Institut Le Rosey in Switzerland and NYU Italy. She has worked in South America overseeing large-scale productions and logistics for clients worldwide. Carleton, a graduate of College of Charleston, was also educated in Italy. She managed a multitude of international consumer brands throughout her media career in New York. Virginia and Carleton are multilingual and maintain their deep connections internationally.

The Green Valise embraces a stylized, boutique and intimately connected approach that re-envisions the industry as a whole. The TGV network is built on the solid foundations of Virginia and Carleton's global experiences of living, working and traveling abroad over the past two decades. This exposure has also refined their taste to best serve and inspire clients who dream of redefining the way they travel.
